Lara Daniels is a Registered Nurse by day and an avid African romance-suspense writer at nights. Her first full length novel, Love in Paradise was published in 2009. It was quickly followed by a sequel titled Love at Dawn, both of which recieved and continues to recieve rave reviews. Lara has also written several short stories for magazines - under general fiction and romance fiction. Some of these stories have been published into novellas and are stocked by major retail booksellers worldwide. Story Behind The Book

Love in the midst of mayhem? It’s the nineties and a violent dictator rules Nigeria with an iron fist. Nafisah knows firsthand the chaos that results from this type of rule, so when she meets Eddy, an aide to the current leader, and a top member of the Nigerian intelligence service, she believes her situation just went from bad to worse. But Eddy completely contradicts her expectations, and she finds herself falling for him, only to discover that he carries a secret that could just about topple the nation.
