Just look at her! Who does she think she is? Strutting in with her wavy shoulder length brown hair, framing a heart shaped face and Lavender eyes. I will tell you who she is, Anna Skott! The newest face on the scene and the most promised to be on everyone’s lips. She’s not your average Jane and not your stereotypical Vampire. Her persona is way cooler than humans but she's a totally different breed in the vampire world. Anna is truly a one of a kind.

I fell in love with Jaxson and his need (if you call it that) to have Anna in his life, "Because, Anna, by doing it this way, it will answer more than just one question. When you find me in your past you will understand why I can be part of your future. I have never left you and I never will no matter what you decide." I want a man like that, hot damn! Alright so If you pay close attention to the book that quote truly makes sense but you have to pay VERY close attention and keep to the clues. I liked this book alot and I liked the fact that instead of blood Sebastian need it was actually sex, it's putting a twist on the whole vampire thing.<br /> "What do you crave? Blood? It seems I have a lot of it plastered to my skin and sheets."<br /> "Actually Anna, it's sex. It's tricky. I can't feed off just anyone with sex. I guess you could say, lust is the appetizer and sex is the main course..."<br /> AHHH Oh. My. God. Personally I think this is one of Ambear's best! I can't wait for book two as the cliffhanger killed me (I say that a lot but it's true they really do, and I'm impatient and hate waiting.)<br /> ~Heather A.<br /><br /> The author of this book has a great imagination. Her characters have very unique characteristics. I have never read characters such as these before. This book starts off with a brib to keep a secret hidden. Anna has sex with him in return for his silence. The sex was fantastic to read. She didn't know what she was getting herself into. This sexy man, Jaxson, know everything about her. Anna wanted answers, but all she has is questions. Jaxson fits into her past some how and she wants to find out. Anna turns to her best friend, Paige, for help. Paige has a secret of her own. Anna agreed to go into a coma like sleep in search of her past. While she is asleep there's a wolf waiting to kill Anna because she is a vampire. Not your everyday type Vampire. Anna feeds from something other than blood. As she wakes her past is more clear to her. She finds out what powers her. And how Jaxson fits into her life. Anna has to make a decision for her friend, Paige. Paige is scared not knowing what could happen next. Anna is lucky to have Paige as her friend and Paige is lucky to have Anna as her friend. They will go thru it together. Anna sits and waits to see the out come of her decision. You will have to read to see what happens next! Not what they expected!<br /> Thank you, AmBear <br /> ~Jessica Bridgers<br /><br /> First off, this book is definitely 18 and up. It has some pretty steamy parts. I really, really liked this book. Anna was turned into a vampire against her will. Vampires in this book aren't like the myths that are so popular. Each vampire feeds on something different. Some do feed on blood, but some like Sebastian feed on sex. It varies between vampires. Anna feeds on something different than those two, but it's a surprise.<br /><br /> Even though Sebastian turned her against her will, it was on accident. And part of me still wants to like him, I have no idea why. Anna has to give up her entire life. She moves in the Sebastian so he can teach her to be a vampire.<br /><br /> Jaxson is in love with her, and wants them to be a couple. She doesn't think it will ever work because he is a human. He tells her to go back into time, and she will see he has always been there. So she goes into a trance vampires can go into to watch their past unfold until they find the answers they want.<br /><br /> Paige and her boyfriend, Ozzie, are put in charge to watch over her while they sleep, but they have a little more on their hands than they expected. Paige and Ozzie are pretty kick-ass, and super amazing friends.<br /> ~Cara C. <br /><br /> I really liked this story from the beginning. It's a new spin on vampire lore, and there are other supernatural beings, as well. We find out about Anna's past throughout the book, as she goes into a trance to "relive" part of her life from the night she was turned, to determine how Jaxson knows her (after having a pretty steamy interaction with him). Her best friend Paige and Paige's boyfriend Ozzie, a hunter, come to protect her while in her trance, and the twists just keep coming throughout the story.<br /><br /> I also greatly enjoyed the use of music throughout the book. I knew pretty much all of the songs mentioned, and they were each relevant and used perfectly to describe certain situations, especially the ending. And speaking of the ending, it's definitely a cliffhanger, so I can't wait to see what happens next!
