There, God claims her and lays a trail of miracles that lead her from her native England to a new husband of faith in Atlantic Canada. <br />Though she is upfront about her ending, you’ll find yourself longing to learn the next step in her discovery of new love and deeper faith journey. This is one of those books you just can’t put down. Potentially, you’ll be following the twists and turns of her journey into the wee small hours. <br />‘A mysterious rug with a life-changing message, a Ruth-type love story, fascinating interactions with other believers, poetic descriptions of landscapes many native Canadians take for granted—and a message of God’s love and salvation,’ writes critic Margaret Welwood. ‘Bobbie Ann Cole’s story is a little too strange and untidy to be fiction. As a true story, it will leave you satisfied, yet wanting to know more.’ <br />‘Often times, life will take us to the end of our rope, leaving us helpless and at our wit’s end. Yet, even in such dire situations, our God is not helpless. He will bring in plentiful harvest – a harvest of renewal, hope, joy and happiness in our life,’ says Khamneithang Vaiphei. ‘She Does Not Fear the Snow is an incredible testimony that will have a profound impact on you.’ <br />If mystery, romance, women’s faith issues, the Jewish roots of Christianity, Christian living or outreach appeal to you, you will find much to enjoy.</div><div> </div></div>

I read the book in a day I was unable to put it down. I genuinely wanted to know what was going to happen next, the plots are well written and unpredictable. The stories happen to talk about women who are lesbians but the issues ( love, loss of love, friendships, betrayals of the cruelest nature, human endurance, faith) transcend lines of gender and orientation. Must read. <div style="width:100%;padding-top:10px;clear:both;"> <div class="reviews-voting-stripe" style="padding-right:15px;border-right-color:rgb(204,204,204);border-right-width:1px;border-right-style:solid;float:left;"> <div style="padding-bottom:5px;"><b class="tiny" style="color:rgb(102,102,102);white-space:nowrap;"><font size="1">Help other customers find the most helpful reviews</font></b></div> <div style="width:300px;"><a style="font-size:1px;"></a><span class="crVotingButtons"><span class="votingPrompt">Was this review helpful to you? </span><a class="votingButtonReviews yesButton" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/voting/cast/Reviews/2115/R3LBFPS42VW55D/Helpful/1/ref=cm_cr_prvoteyn?ie=UTF8&target=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5hbWF6b24uY29tL3Jldmlldy9CMDBEQU82NjRNL3JlZj1jbV9jcl9wcnZvdGVyZHI_X2VuY29kaW5nPVVURjgmc2hvd1ZpZXdwb2ludHM9MQ&token=FB0CCCF407D9AF702FD6ECDBAB0C9B7353D986B3&voteAnchorName=R3LBFPS42VW55D.2115.Helpful.Reviews&voteSessionID=189-2138159-9489801"><span class="cmtySprite s_largeYes"><span><font color="#0066cc">Yes</font></span></span></a> <a class="votingButtonReviews noButton" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/voting/cast/Reviews/2115/R3LBFPS42VW55D/Helpful/-1/ref=cm_cr_prvoteyn?ie=UTF8&target=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5hbWF6b24uY29tL3Jldmlldy9CMDBEQU82NjRNL3JlZj1jbV9jcl9wcnZvdGVyZHI_X2VuY29kaW5nPVVURjgmc2hvd1ZpZXdwb2ludHM9MQ&token=0963C6AC2821451E1E2E1771B1D04C4D03E0EB03&voteAnchorName=R3LBFPS42VW55D.2115.Helpful.Reviews&voteSessionID=189-2138159-9489801"><span class="cmtySprite s_largeNo"><span><font color="#0066cc">No</font></span></span></a></span></div> </div> <div style="float:left;"> <div style="padding-left:15px;"> <div style="white-space:nowrap;"><span class="tiny"><a style="font-size:1px;"></a><span class="reportingButton"><a class="reportingButton" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/voting/cast/Reviews/2115/R3LBFPS42VW55D/Inappropriate/1/ref=cm_cr_prvoteyn?ie=UTF8&target=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5hbWF6b24uY29tL3Jldmlldy9CMDBEQU82NjRNL3JlZj1jbV9jcl9wcnZvdGVyZHI_X2VuY29kaW5nPVVURjgmc2hvd1ZpZXdwb2ludHM9MQ&token=6029FB514202BE26D81042E84A91C0A6460B55F9&voteAnchorName=R3LBFPS42VW55D.2115.Inappropriate.Reviews&voteSessionID=189-2138159-9489801"><font color="#0066cc" size="1">Report abuse</font></a></span><font size="1"></font></span><span style="color:rgb(204,204,204);">|</span> <span class="tiny"><a href="http://www.amazon.com/review/R3LBFPS42VW55D/ref=cm_cr_pr_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=0984828125&linkCode=&nodeID=&tag="><font color="#0066cc" size="1">Permalink</font></a></span></div> <div style="padding-top:5px;white-space:nowrap;"><a href="http://www.amazon.com/review/R3LBFPS42VW55D/ref=cm_cr_pr_cmt?ie=UTF8&ASIN=0984828125&linkCode=&nodeID=&tag=#wasThisHelpful"><span class="swSprite s_comment"><span><font color="#0066cc">Comment</font></span></span></a> <a href="http://www.amazon.com/review/R3LBFPS42VW55D/ref=cm_cr_pr_cmt?ie=UTF8&ASIN=0984828125&linkCode=&nodeID=&tag=#wasThisHelpful"><font color="#0066cc">Comment</font></a></div> </div> </div> <div style="clear:both;"> </div> </div> </div> <p><a></a><br /> </p> <div style="margin-left:.5em;"> <div style="margin-bottom:.5em;"><span style="margin-right:5px;"><span class="swSprite s_star_4_0" title="4.0 out of 5 stars"><span>4.0 out of 5 stars</span></span> </span><span style="vertical-align:middle;"><b>I read Abanoned Property by Kai Mann</b>, August 15, 2013</span></div> <div style="margin-bottom:.5em;"> <div> <div style="float:left;">By</div> <div style="float:left;"><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/pdp/profile/AEISG1YH6MN5D/ref=cm_cr_pr_pdp"><span style="font-weight:bold;"><font color="#0066cc">Darlene C. It's not just for Gay people. But what i like is that the author portrays the lives of Same Gender Loving people as experiencing the same "normal" problems and life situations as any other human being. Kai Mann is sure to be an author that can deliver the literary goods that will keep anyone coming back for more. GET THE BOOK!</div>
