Story Behind The Book

Clinging to their courage in a crumbling world, Aislinn and Fionn vow to save Earth, no matter what it takes. Blurb: In a post-apocalyptic world where most people have been slaughtered, the Celtic gods and a few humans with magic are all that stands between survival and Earth falling into alien hands. The combination of dark sorcery leveraged by the enemy is daunting. Destruction is all but certain if the small enclaves of humans who are left can’t get past their distrust of the Celts. Captured by the enemy, Aislinn Lenear wonders if she’ll ever see her bond wolf or Fionn, a Celtic god, again. She’s had nothing but her wits to rely on for years. They haven’t failed her yet, but escape from her current predicament seems remote. An enticing blend of urban fantasy and romance, this second volume of the Earth Reclaimed Series provides fertile ground for Aislinn and Fionn’s relationship to deepen. Headstrong and independent, the pair runs up against each other’s demands time and time again. Fireworks spark. In the end, they learn to savor every moment in a bittersweet world where each day may well be their last.

Reviews

"BLOWN AWAY! That pretty much says it right there. This book grabbed me at the first chapter (when I read it at the end of book 1) and still hasn't let go! I finished it early Wednesday morning around 2 am and now, late Thursday night as I write my review, I realize I have been thinking about and talking about this book pretty much to anyone who will listen." "I love this authors imagination. So much happens in the world that she weaves on the page. Action, torment, passion and adventure. Such an amazing storyline and characters that rise from the page . From snarky wolves to opinionated dragons, lecherous aliens to beguiling Gods, yes this book has it all. As for the Gods, sigh, Fionn is one very sensual male and the passion almost sets the pages on fire. If you are a romantic then you will not be disappointed but this is by no means a soppy romance! No this story is fast and heartbreaking and impossible to walk away from. I so need more and when you read this book you will be clamouring for that too!"
