John McLeod was born and raised in Oakville, Ontario. He has studied and trained in health and fitness for over 30 years including playing various sports, particularly hockey, which he still plays to this day. He was certified by the American Counsel on Exercise (ACE) in the spring of 2002 as a personal trainer and has been working in the health care industry as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2003.
John began doing crossword puzzles in the mid 1990's and, during massage therapy training, came up with the idea of creating medical terminology crossword puzzles as a study tool.
John currently resides and practices in the Newmarket, Ontario area.
