About

October is a historic month in my life. In addition to being my birth month, I also share my birthday with several famous actors including Angela Langsbury, Kellie Martin and Suzanne Somers. As if that wasn’t enough, my first-born son (one of two) was born on my birthday.

With a stretch of the imagination, Langsbury and Martin represent mysteries, a genre I’ve always favored. In my younger days, I read the entire Perry Mason series. Later in life I shifted to the writings of attorney Scott Turow. It’s a wonder I didn’t start out as a mystery writer but my interests shifted to publishing instead.

As an authorpreneur, I understand both the writing and promotions side of the publishing industry. My books and services are dedicated to eliminating frustrations for other authors and publishers.

Services are offered to authors across all genres, from poetry to children’s books. In 2012, my publishing and marketing company, Jeremiah One Nine Publishing, was launched. More than 30 authors have used my services to complete successful book projects. In addition, two 60-day courses are currently in development (Published in 60 and Skinny Wallet Book Promotions).

When I’m not wearing my publishing hat, my time is given to other interests. I’m a mystery movie enthusiast with a penchant for British mysteries. Among my favorites are Midsomer Murders, Rosemary & Thyme, and Inspector Lynley Mysteries. My American favorites mystery authors are Sue Grafton, the author of the Kinsey Millhone Mysteries (also known as “The Alphabet Mysteries”) and Scott Turow. When time permits, unraveling a jigsaw puzzles gets my attention. My minimum is 1,000 pieces and the max has been 2,500 pieces.

A native Atlantan converted to a somewhat content mid-westerner, I’ve found a home in Ohio where most of her family lives. Watch for my latest offering, “The Book-Possible Series,” scheduled to debut in April 2015.
