It is a Jamaican love story about a pair of star-crossed lovers who have problems to solve before there can be a happily ever after. The story seeks to put to bed the usual discussion put forward by women that all men are dogs.

He would never forget his humiliation at the hands of his subjects. Richard's inability to protect his adherents would haunt him for the rest of his life, and he vowed that next time, retribution would be his.
