About

Jordan Eason (1992- ) was born in Savannah, Georgia to Brenda G. and Michael A. Eason and was raised there. In 2006, when he was in the eighth grade, he was given a writing assignment by his English teacher in which he had to write a fiction story in book format, complete with characters, plot, and at least 10 chapters. This assignment allowed him to uncover a true love for writing. He decided that he should seriously think about writing a book.

It wouldn't be until three years later when he was in his freshman year in college that he would decide to begin such an endeavor. The work was completed later that year. Several publishing companies took an interest in the work, but would not be available to begin the publishing process of another work in that genre until 2012 due to an existing line-up of books. Undaunted, he continued to search around. It is this determined spirit that has always characterized his personality. His favorite quote is "For God has not give us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, love, and soundness of mind." This quote shows how persistence is the foundation of his person and should be a quality that everyone develops.

He has realized that in order to accomplish anything, you have to be willing to dream big and chase after that dream. He plans to write again someday, but not in the same genre. The next work would be about the inner turmoils of young teenager attending inner city schools and struggling with a sense of identity.

Eason is a student of nursing, and expects to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA in 2012. He plans to go on to become a Nurse Practitioner in a family practice setting. To this day, he is one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and is fully engaged in his ministry, focusing particularly on the Spanish and Portuguese speaking populations in his area. As he continues to gain life experience, he hopes to be ever cognizant of the needs of others and wishes to give back to society in personal, medical, and spiritual capacities.

Story Behind The Book

Reviews

I found this book to be very helpful, especially the fact that it talks so much about verbs. I think that's helpful because verbs in Spanish are a very hard concept to grasp. I also really loved how page 18 begins a section entitled "You Already Know A Lot of Spanish." I thought it was so neat how it teaches the student how to learn so many new words without rote memorization. I never realized before that there was a simple trick to be able to make so many English words into Spanish. I already feel like I am learning so much. Its format is simple too because it's a lot like a combination of study guide and a textbook at the same time. This combo gives you just the meat of the language like a study guide would while actually including conversations, vocabulary, and activities just like a textbook would. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn Spanish quickly.

---- Gail White, student of the book.

Review from amazon.com
