I am a writer and an artist. My first novel, "Dogs with Bagels," is a New York City story about a family of Romanian immigrants whose American dream takes a few unexpected detours.

I am also the author of Have Watercolors Will Travel, a daily blog where I post a small watercolor and an essay, drawing on whatever inspiration comes my way.
