Heather Kennison grew up in Spring Creek, Nevada. She graduated from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington, in 2012 with bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Spanish and later returned to Spring Creek.
In her spare time, she enjoys writing both fiction and nonfiction, as well as poetry. Other pastimes include reading, hiking and watching her favorite science fiction shows.
In February 2013, Kennison joined the Elko County Writers as an active member. The group inspired her to finish Dragon's Destiny, her first novel.
