Fabulous book and very well written. The author described the 80's vividly and while I was reading I was definately experiencing flash backs. Was a page turner for me and I absolutely CANNOT wait until part 2!

The imagery and storyline were fantastic. The words flowed so well. You could see yourself in the place of Maria. Her naiveté and desire to be loved pulls you into her story. I couldn't put it down. Not a big reader as I'm usually too busy and it takes me forever to finish a book. I can't wait for the next one.
