John D Thompson-Ward

I am John Daniel Thompson-Ward born in the year 1968 in the great country of the United States of America. I currently live in beautiful Canada. I just passed my forty plus one birthday. I have lived in 3 different states and 7 different provinces of Canada and 21 different cities. I have been in Canada since 1983, my parents moved to Nova Scotia to teach in a private school there. We proceeded to move across Canada from there. Just after my 17th birthday I left home and went to live with my uncle in Ontario. I stayed there for a bit and moved back to Nova Scotia. I had to leave there to go take care of my parents in Saskatchewan because they had gotten into a automobile collision. I had only been away from home for 7 months. I was married to a wonderful woman for 6 years, we had one child together. She told me she wasn't happy and moved on to another life, she seem's happy now. The awesome woman I am with now I have been with for 11 years and married to her for 7 of those years. She asked me to marry her, which I guess doesn't happen very often in this world. I have worked various jobs and can't say I am really hooked to anyone one thing. I did drive Transport Truck for almost ten years, which I no longer do for I was in a vehicle collision in March 2009 which has left me out of work for the past 5 months. I published a short book of free verse poetry EOMH143 in the past 5 month period, I picked 52 poems from a collection of the over 150 poems I have written over the years.
