I've had a lifelong passion for all things history, especially WWI and WWII aviation. "Emerald Ace" is the first book in the Mick Gallagher series, detailing the exploits of a young Irish patriot with a fervent hatred of the British Empire and a love for flying. In "Emerald Ace" Mick becomes a clandestine member of the famous Flying Circus squadron led by the Red Baron, Manfred von Richthofen. The second book in the series, "Richthofen's Knight," will be out early in 2010. My intention is to take Mick Gallagher all the way through World War II and beyond.
