Kail Harbick is best known for her appearance on the hit reality television show, Big Brother 8. She has received comprehensive pageant training, as well as judging, competing, and at one time, owning and operating the Mrs. Oregon United States pageant. Kail and her husband Darin, have three grown children and reside in Rainbow, Oregon

1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I am best known for my appearance on the reality television show, Big Brother 8. However, I most think of myself as a wife, mother of three, and a business owner.

2. Describe your book Chasing the Crown in 30 words or less.

Lucy is a full figured woman, longs to be slender again and desires her husband's attention once more...Her solution to fulfillment is to enter the Mrs. Oregon pageant.

3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?

Learning all the rules to writing a novel.

4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?

Any and all books on how to write a novel.

5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?

I stay connected to pageant women.

6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing?

I always have a book in my hand.

7. What are you working on next?

After taking Lucy through the pageant in book one, I am taking her through a reality show.
