Crystal Gauthier

I am a married mother of five grown children and thirteen grandchildren. Born in Kentucky, raised in Michigan. Hobbies are reading, writing, crocheting and cooking. I am a advocate for animals. Cats, Dogs, Sea Turtles and Wolves are where my heart lies. I believe in humanity, love, peace and helping those with mental illness. History is my favorite subject to read about. I love my fans and I feel they generally love me. Virtual Hugs are my specialty.

1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I grew up in a house full of romance novels. My mother read constantly. My first book was the Pokey Little Puppy which I adored. I read my first full lenght book called: Angel Unaware by Dale Evans at the age of 5. I am a former Paralegal. Retired now. The inspiration to write my own romance, time travel book came in 2012 after seeing a friend of mine had written a wonderful book.

2. Describe your book Troianne (Time Travel Society Book 1) in 30 words or less.

A time travel adventure that takes the reader back to the Victorian era England. Troianne finds herself in a beautiful manor house with a handsome man delivering her first child. What ensues after that will keep you on edge.

3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?

Nothing was hard about writing it. The hard part is editing it. Realizing the fact my writing needed alot of work and research.

4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?

Romance novels of the 1970's and 1980's. Once was by Evelyn Grey - Camberleigh. I named my daughter after that book.

5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?

I use every free social media site that I possibly can. I also pay small amounts monthly for paid sites. I use Bookbuzzr and Freado, they have helped me the most in my books sales.

6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing?

When I am not writing I am reading, working on the computer, watching television, spending time with my 2 cats and puppy and my grandkids. I love to travel when I can.

7. What are you working on next?

I have two books out in the time travel series now, I am working on the third called "Rheanon's Heart." Rheanon is from the 19th century and travels forward in time to World War II to find her one true love.
