S K Sheridan was born in London and now lives in a village in Buckinghamshire. UK. She gained a Masters degree in Eighteenth Century French and English art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, before teaching art in secondary schools for ten years. She has written stories (mostly in secret) from a young age and has had various articles and short stories published. 'The TOP SECRET Diary of Davina Dupree (Aged 10)' is her first full length book for children. Interesting fact: S K Sheridan was once a drummer in a rock band during her university days.
