Ju Ephraime writes mid to high heat romance novels with unique settings and strong romantic stories. So far, she has written six romance novels, and two paranormal romance noves. She is soon to release her third paranormal novel in the spring of 2014.

Interview

1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Ju Ephraime began writing professionally at age 19; at that time, she wrote short stories for the local radio station in her home town. She gave up writing to pursue her education and has since earned several degrees, including two Masters and a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University in Boston.  During the course of her schooling, she wrote and published a working curriculum for a career school, a business manual and its answer key, as well as other literary work.  In 2010 she revisited her first love, writing for fun and enjoyment.  She writes high heat, steamy, romance novels. The first was, State of Ecstasy in the LaCasse series, which was soon followed by, Temptation to Sin, Loving Therèse, #2 in the LaCasse series and now, Against All Odds. Ju has gone on to write several more books, including, The Odor of Violet, on tour this month, Complete Surrender, #3 in the LaCasse series; as well as, a Christmas Novella, Footsteps in the Sand and her award winning paranormal, White Magic Woman, Quarterfinalist in Amazon Breakthrough Novel Contest, 2013, out of over 10,000 entrants.


2. Describe your book Against All Odds in 30 words or less. 

He had just lost the love of his life—his soul mate or so he’d thought … now he was left to pick up the pieces and move on.


3. What was the hardest part of writing your book? 

Finding a believable plot conflict to incorporate into the story


4. What books have had the greatest influence on you? 

I write high heat romance novels, and I have five favorite authors, among them are Lisa Kleypas' Again The Magic, Virginia Henley's Insatiable and Elizabeth Lowell's Only You  


5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?

I use several promotions on the Internet, do a couple book tours and interact on FB quite a bit.


6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing? 

When I'm not writing, I'm reading or promoting my book on the Internet


7. What are you working on next?

I'm working on Rhapsody in Paris and On Dance With A Stranger
