Marlita Hill

Dance Minister / Dance Educator / Choreographer

Marlita Hill started ministering through dance at the age of 15, with The Hush Company, a Los Angeles based dance ministry under the direction of Stacy and LaQuin Meadows.
During her eight years there, she served as a dancer, choreographer, and Assistant Director. In 2000, she entered a new dimension of ministry with Dancing Hill Ministries (DHM).

Since the launching of DHM, Ms. Hill has moderated an on-line publication, The Dancer's Sermon, and traveled the country teaching about the purpose and power of dance ministry. In March 2008, she was blessed to publish her book, "Dancers! Assume the Position," which examines the WHAT, the WHY, and the IMPACT of the dancer's ministry. For over ten years, Ms. Hill has been teaching dance technique in K-12, college, and community settings throughout California and Maryland. She holds a BFA degree in Dance Performance with K-12 Certification.

Currently, she serves as the steward of the dance ministry at Full Harvest International, under the leadership of Bishop Clarence E. McClendon, and is a full-time dance faculty at Los Angeles' brand new performing arts high school, Central Los Angeles High School #9.
