Interview

1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I am 42 years old, happily married with 3 wonderful kids.  Writing has been something I have always wanted to do, but never found the time, until now.

2. Describe your book The Relationship Triangle: The 3 most important things in any relationship and how they are connected in 30 words or less.

My book is about the fundamentals of relationships with your friends, family, loved ones.  I show you what is most important in these relationships and how to fix it when things go wrong.

3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?

This is my first book, the most difficult part was just finding the time to put my thoughts on paper and feeling confident enough that I could share it with the world.

4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?

I read a lot of books, I would have a very tough time narrowing it down that way.  I greatly enjoy books by Malcolm Gladwell, and Michael Lewis

5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?

Being my first book it has been a learning experience.  I have tried social media, contests, free promotions, blogs, even created a website.  I can't pinpoint one thing that has worked better than the other but all together it is working well.

6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing?

I am a Vice President at a Fortune 500 firm.  Also very active with my family and friends in the community.

7. What are you working on next?

My next book will be coming out in August, titled "Commonalities:  Finding common ground in dating and marriage in the age of Mobile phones, the Internet, and Social Media"  It is about how to beat the odds in relationships in todays society of constant distraction.
