From his earliest days as the progeny of government sleaze, the author witnessed corruption, hypocrisy, and stark inhumanity resulting from civil wars and social injustice. As a young adult, he traveled throughout Mexico and Central America where he became iinvolved in the very lucrative business of human smuggling. It wasn't possible to endure long in that lifestyle without becoming sympathetic to the plight of so many displaced and needy innocents The author is currently a small business owner living with his wife and two daughters in Colorado. "My sympathies may be transparent," He states, "but having owned a business here for several years, I'm able to see both sides of this divisive issue."
