Walter is a graduate of Joliet Junior College and Loyola University of Chicago. He has written several works of historical fiction and non-fiction, and his work has earned critical praise from Readers' Favorite and ForeWord Reviews. He is also a member of the Houston Civil War Round Table who has been honored by the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Walter resides in Texas with his wife Gianna.
