Ken Bossone is president of the World Positive Thinkers Club,which includes over 500 celebrities of the sports and business world. Members include Joni Earickson Tada- paralyzedauthor and artist, Donovan McNabb, Andy Reid, Tom Brady, Peyton & EliManning, Dwight Howard, Dwayne Wade, Lance Armstrong, Mrs. Ruth Stafford Peale,and the late Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, and the late Margaret Gorman (the firstMiss America). Cal Ripkin, Jr., Michael Phelps, and EmerilLagasse are also a card-carrying members. LanceArmstrong, Bill Belicheck, Mrs. Peale, Andy Reid, Larry King, President Bush,Governor Sarah Palin, Dwane Wade, and the late Gordon B. Hinckley and manysuccessful business people and athletes have a copy of his second book. Ken started the club in 1995 and voluntarydues start in 2009. Plans are to usefunds to help hungry children, and the club has already adopted a child in Appalachia.
Ken is former Director of Sales for IDCure.com; formerDirector of sales and training for ATD; is a published author; has written aseries of ‘Positive Input Children’s Stories,’ as well as articles forExecutive Excellence, Personal Excellence, and KandeeG. magazine. He is also a financial advisor with flair forcreating and evaluating business plans. Ken is a faculty member of theprestigious Masters Seminar Program, and has been featured on many radio shows,as well as earning the Prestigious ‘Parent to Parent Adding Wisdom’ award inseven categories for his book, and 2008 BusinessBook of the Year. A leading ChinesePublisher recently purchased the rights to publish the book in Mainland China, andnegotiations are going on to publish in 75 more countries.
In his senioryear at Conestoga High in Berwyn, Pa. Ken was scouted by the PittsburghPirates. Ken volunteered to serve his country in the Army, whereby he earned theBlack Belt in Karate. During his tenurein the Army he earned letters of commendation and was named Soldier of theMonth.
After the Army he started his career in sales and haswon awards such as top producer of the month; most sales produced for a newagent and salesman of the year. He was adirector of sales; one of the youngest regional sales supervisors in theinsurance business, and was a training director, traveling around the United Statesconducting sales seminars. Part time hetaught Karate to adult night schools, colleges and the police departments onthe Philadelphia Main Line, as well as owning his own Karate Dojo in Malvern, Pa.
For ten years he put his career on hold, giving up asix figure income to research and write why people don’t reach goals and todiscover and share the real secret of those who do, leading to peak performanceand greater peace of mind. During hisresearch and ten year journey he discovered the three-word motto of all winners, leading to the real power, which hehappily promulgates in this astounding, totally enjoyable book.
