Thirty years ofliving a challenging life in country Australia  gave me the feel for the landand the knowledge I needed to write my country tales.I’minviting my readers into the country for a spell, into the lives of people youwill want to learn more about, characters divergent from anybody you have everknown, in a place of love and beauty in an Ancient Land.  Their storiesare as unique as the very essence of their souls. The first of the seriesis the life story of Emily, who at 8, was the only survivor of a tribal dispute.I wanted the character to eventually recover from the insanity that was imposedupon her; where in the true story, the survivor was a young boy who sank intocraziness and never forgave.
