Nirmala Menon has worked in Advertising Agencies in Mumbai and Bangalore . She also set up Oceanfresh , a direct marketing firm for the distribution of Frozen Seafood in Bangalore.She has worked as a Secondary school teacher teaching Science, Maths and Creative Writing . She started Creative Interaction- a workshop for children , a forum for their creative expression and discovery.The Art Connect Initiative's Art Workshops were also started by Ms. Menon - a platform for wannabe artists to interact with established artists to hone their skills.
