My Thoughts-
I first want to say it was very exciting to hear that this book was written by not only an adult but also her 12 year old niece. Reading and writing is big in our family and I love seeing it being encouraged.
This book is about a Bunny named Buffy. He doesn’t have a lot of friends and then falls in love with a carrot. Many events happen and the ending is so silly.
I love how the story is written and the illustrations. This is a very cute, fun book to read with your kids. Lee loved it and laughed so hard at the ending. Her words, “That’s just silly mommy.” I love books that can get your child into it and this book lives up to keeping your child’s interest.
I would totally recommend you checking out this book. It would even be a fun book your child’s teacher could read to the class. “Buffy and the Carrot” is a book you’ll want on your child’s bookshelf.
