All Sides Now: A Memoir in Essays

ABOUT Sheila Evans

Sheila Evans
Former teacher and computer professional.  Finally, writer.

Life suddenly seemed senseless to a sensitive nine-year-old girl after her father died while her mother was in a mental hospital.  Her search for meaning illuminated her journey from child to parent, from pupil to professional, from dreamer to doer, through a changing societal landscape.  World events and issues such as  sexism and racism became interwoven with her experiences and impressions, teaching her to seek the truth in all sides of life.

Sheila’s lifelong search for meaning is both personal and universal.
