Haint Blue is filled with the sights, sounds, smells and Gullah life that abound in and around Beaufort.It is a story of a young businessman who buys a failing landmark business in Beaufort, SC - the Lady's Island Oyster Factory. Six years later, he finds himself in a tug of war between the power of international greed, the desperation of an entire Gullah community and the deadly shadow of a hex over him.
