Booga Dooga land.UNQUOTE
The author has filled his first published books "Tales of the Booga Dooga Land" - The Wormus and Tales of the Booga Doog Land - Pickwick's Plan with brilliant wordplay, designed to bring chuckles to the readers of all ages, while they read through this sparkling "family together" children's book, where the author has created an entirely original and fascinating new wonderland - the Booga Dooga Land.
The author does not forget to integrate little lessons in the events which are written about in the book, designed to promote what he considers to be the most important aspect of life, “Family Values” .
These are wonderful books where he has introduced a new meaning to the word “Plan”, straight from the Booga Dooga Land.
The illustrations have been painted by Julie Sneeden of South Africa, a wonderful visualizer and internationally renowned artist whose sparkling illustrations have lighted up the book immeasurably. These books deserve a place of pride on every adult and child's bookshelf.

When the Wormus awakens from his hundred-year sleep, he begins to eat everything in sight. The Silver Dragon can’t stop him with his fiery breath. No one knows how to stop this giant creature that will consume the entire land of Booga Dooga, especially the Pixies, because they are sweet and delicious. Father PixKix has a better idea and goes to the house of the tiniest Pixie in Pixie Town, Pickwick. Pickwick and his sidekick Octodoll rush to the sight of the destructive Wormus who is eating the Silver Mountains. Pickwick realizes that he has to come up with a proper PLAN in order to deal with the Wormus. Pickwick and Octodoll make a PLAN and return to stop the Wormus before he reaches Pixie Town. They find themselves face to face with the hungry Wormus and their PLAN is ready.

Deepak Menon has created something that is perhaps a candidate for a children’s classic. The double meanings that he uses for phrases like “catching one’s breath” or “losing one’s temper” add a silly twist that also gives a few gentle lessons in life. The creativity of the entire land and the larger story within which this one particular episode is set is well thought out and creates a vivid picture for the mind of a child. Tales of the Booga Dooga Land: The Wormus is a book that should be found on the shelves of all children.

Tales of the Booga Dooga Land II - The Wormus by Deepak Menon March 2, 2013 Amazon Customer Review

By Carol M. In this book we find our little Pixie hero Pickwick, and his friend OctoDoll in another high adventure. The ides of March. was upon them, the very day when a fearful creature called Wormus who had fallen from the stars over a hundred years before was destined to awaken from his long sleep.. Demoninlove, a caring and thoughtful fellow knew the very moment when Wormus opened his eyes, for the ground beneath him trembled as Wormus in a near by cave awoke, and with an insatiable appetite came out of the darkness and into the sunlight.

Fear gripped the little Pixie Town at the thought of this giant creature who ate mountains along with everything else in his sight, and who they knew had a particular taste for Pixies was now awake and hungry. It was old Father PixKix of 110 years who remembered well the fearsome Wormus from his childhood who enlisted Pickwick and his friend OctoDoll to put their "Plan" into action once again and to save them and their little village from the hungry giant.

Young wide eyed children will be captivated by this story and will shriek with delight at the antics of their Hero Pickwick.
The Author, who weaves a tale of excitement and wonder, obviously knows his audience well, and doesn't disappoint them.

Beautifully illustrated, entertaining and delightful, this book along with Pickwick's Plan will undoubtedly become a classic
