About

I am a seventy year young grandmother.  I started writing stories for my two grandsons for Christmas a few years ago.  They liked them so much that they now expect a new one each year.
My husband of almost fifty years encouraged me to write and publish more children and young adult books.  His support has been fantastic.  We have two adult sons, a daughter and those two wonderful grandsons.
I have written and published on Createspace about 30 works.  Some have been combined into collections of stories.
Most of the stories have encouragement and hints for the reader, such as the Maddy and Squirt series.  This is a sister and brother that must deal with moving, a new home, making new friends, going to a new school and their encounters along the way.
Reading releases the hidden child in all of us and gives us hope, encouragement and insite.  Our imagination gives us wings to fly.
