This month has been an exciting month for us. We've come out with a brand new Facebook Fan Page Widget that takes advantage of the changes made to Facebook Public Profiles. We also discovered that one of our authors - Michael Hicks - has become a top three author on Amazon's Kindle store (just behind legendary science fiction author - Orson Scott Card!) And superstar author Ellen Maze has recommended Freado.com as one of her top sites for authors. And we were also very pleased by a comment made by Freado user - Hira Hasnain who wrote about Freado: "It is a great way to showcase new authors, give them and their books some exposure, and create an enjoyable and rewarding environment for readers as well."
We are deeply touched by the fact that almost all of authors who go in for a BookBuzzr Author Pro subscription never cancel their subscription. Announcing a New Book Review Feature
If you are a BookBuzzr Author Pro subscriber and are giving away your book as a prize in order to promote it, you have yet another reason to be delighted. We've now got a new book review feature which works like this: The winner of the book is asked if they will be willing to write a short review of the book. If the winner consents, then you (the author) can follow up with him or her after a few weeks for a review either on Amazon or other online venue. A special thanks to author Maura Stone author of Five-Star Fleecing who suggested this feature to us.
Your Hangman Game Can Spice Up Your Email Signature!
Authors are known to be creative but this author takes the cake. This month we came across author JC De La Torre who has added a link in his email signature to a Hangman game that he's created. We think it's a great idea because it gets all his email recipients to want to click through and check out the game ... thus converting email recipients into potential readers! Marketing Your Book in an iWorld (aka the Apple Universe)
This month at BookBuzzr's Book Marketing Technologies Center, we're going to be examining the possibilities and the challenges of book marketing in the iWorld.
