I am Bette Saffran, a children’s author and illustrator passionate about creating stories that nurture young hearts. Through my SEL picture books, I weave lessons of kindness, courage, responsibility, and faith into imaginative adventures children can relate to. Inspired by family, stage, and life’s playful moments, I write to help children grow in empathy, confidence, and love—one small but meaningful story at a time.
