Frank Petrovic is back, retired  from the police department and head of his own private detective agency. In New  Mexico, Tommy Alvarado has a problem. Tommy is charged with the crime and from his jail cell he realizes that only  Frank can save him from being convicted of a crime he did not commit.  Frank and his  sidekick, Benny the Bug, leave no stone unturned in their quest for the  missing girl.  Dodging bullets and crooked politicians, Frank and Benny are "on the job."  You'll find it difficult to put this book down without finishing it and the ending is as surprising as it is gratifying
