I thoroughly enjoyed this book and that has a lot to do with Aisha and her charge, Rhiannon. These are two very strong, independent women who are more than capable of making difficult decisions on their own - a nice change from all the Twilightesque heroines populating so many novels these days, women who need a man (preferably dangerous and unattainable) to complete them.
Talon of the Unnamed Goddess is a fast and exciting read with lots of action and a great storyline. So if you're looking for a well-crafted fantasy adventure with strong female protagonists, this is definitely the book for you.
