Being a new reader to Regan Black's series, I found the book gripping and a great continuation of the short story that intrigued me to read it in the first place.
The book is set at a good pace, the characters and plot are well rounded and I enjoyed reading it and suggesting it to others.
I like Mira and I think that if I were the character I would be as intrigued with finding more out about myself as she was and also exploring what her powers could grow into and also reconnecting with her father and mother was a bonus. 5/5 stars from Christina
