There are worse things than death, worse people too.

The "talk" was bad enough, but how many teens get told that they're a goddess? When her mom tells her, Persephone is sure her mother has lost her mind. It isn't until Boreas, the god of winter, tries to abduct her that she realizes her mother was telling the truth. Hades rescues her, and in order to safely bring Persephone to the Underworld he marks her as his bride. But Boreas will stop at nothing to get Persephone. Despite her growing feelings for Hades, Persephone wants to return to the living realm. Persephone must find a way to defeat Boreas and reclaim her life.

"Move over Rick Riordan! From the first paragraph, I was enthralled with this story. I read it all in one sitting and enjoyed every minute of it. What a great spin on a Greek myth!!" ~ Rita Webb, author of Daughter of the Goddess.
"'Persephone' is a fun, imaginative, smart retelling of my favorite myth, fusing modern culture with a rich world of magic. I had such a great time reading this. I ate it up in just a few days. With its irreverent sense of humor and its intelligent references, it reminds me most of Joss Whedon, in particular the livelier, funnier seasons of "Buffy" or "Angel." ~ Molly Ringle author of Persephone's Orchard.

"To see Persephone's thoughts so clear in this modern day take on the story, there were tears in my eyes. I'm not one to get emotional, but I cried, and I laughed, and I felt like these were friends from long ago coming back to see me. This book didn't move too fast, too slow, in fact, the storyline flowed like a beautiful waltz in the light of the full moon." ~ Night Owl Review

"I enjoyed Hades and Persephone's sweet romantic relationship. Persephone has her flaws, but she is likable and learns along the way. The author's writing is descriptive and entertaining. I am looking forward to the next book. There is a sample of the sequel at the end of Persephone titled Daughter of Earth and Sky." ~ Paranormal Muse
"I liked the way this story takes you to explore the possiblity of life after death and how a living person how has to adapt to a lot of changes in a small time frames coups with it. Persephone is great at adapting under all the pressure that is giving to her during the book but also we see her grow and mature around this story." ~  Forget About TV, Grab a Book
