Battle weary and tired, Ghyll Halwyrd and his friends come to Nadril. Once inside it's walls, Ghyll is offered a task by Lord Dunan Nain, the town's feared Commander.
Ghyll desperately wants to go home, but the task before him is one he cannot honorably refuse. Will he succeed in destroying the Stone that holds Nadril captured, or will the dark shadows under the town prove too strong for his weary powers?
