Pips NYT
It started on a quiet afternoon with a cup of coffee and a few minutes to spare. I opened the New York Times Games page, expecting my usual routine: a round of Wordle, maybe a Connections puzzle. But then I saw something new: Pips NYT. A clean grid, soft colors, and domino tiles waiting to be placed. It looked simple enough.
Five minutes later, I was hooked. The first puzzle seemed friendly, almost easy, until I realized every color carried a secret rule. One wanted equal numbers, another wanted differences, and another needed a perfect sum. I wasn’t just placing tiles; I was decoding a system, a logic language painted in color.
When the final domino clicked into place and the grid lit up, I caught myself smiling. Pips didn’t just challenge me; it slowed me down, made me think, and somehow, made numbers feel alive again. It wasn’t about winning. It was about solving something beautiful, one quiet step at a time.
