Description

My parents have been saying 143 to each other for as long as I can remember. The words in this book are from my heart. I have been writing them over the years. When my sister Nadine passed away in September of 2008, I chose to take her advice and put these free verse poems into book form. My wish is to share these poems with the ones I love and with the world. I am hoping that others may glean from these poems what they may. I will be donating some of the proceeds of this book to the Cancer Research Foundati on in honor of my sister, in honor of those whom have lost their lives to this horrible disease and in honor of those of us who are still here mourning the loss of our loved ones and friends. My dream is that these poems will help to bring about some hope and be inspirational to others.
EOMH 143 became a reality well before John D TW had knowledge that it would. The poems on love in EOMH 143 were inspired by prior relationships and most by his lovely wife. The inspirational poems on love, he wrote for family, friends and wonderful people he has met throughout his life. Originally the collection of free verse poems on love was going to be named 'Expressions Of My Heart I Love You'. Much to large of a name for a little book of poems on love. The title of the book EOMH 143 was inspired by visiting his parent's. John's parents have been saying 143 to each other for as long as he can remember. 143 in his parents loving relationship stands for "I love you". EOMH is 'Expressions Of My Heart'. John D TW has taken 52 of his free verse poems on love and published them in his first ever book, EOMH 143. When I read his poems, they make me cry, laugh, love, open my heart and bring out emotions, I forget I have. Please enjoy!
