5.0 out of 5 stars Shows my instinct is always right!, 17 Jun 2011
This review is from: Woman VS Womaniser: What He Knows That You Dont (Paperback)
I never normally read books about relationships but this one is different. It tells you what to look out for and gives insight into the worst type of man you can come across. JC Johnson is very honest in this book. I wish I had been given this when I was 14!
I've been around many players and thought I'd heard it all but still was shocked by certain things in this book like what guys will do to get money from women, how many girls they can get through in such a short space of time and the excuses and lines. The book has taught me to trust my instincts even when a man does his best to justify himself. It is an addictive read, insightful and brutally honest. My outlook has already changed towards men - I no longer compromise my expectations. If a man doesn't have the same expectations as me then I move on to the next. Thank you JC Johnson for restoring my confidence and showing me I can trust my instincts and it's not me being 'paro' as one ex called me - lol!. The book tells you that to get the right man ultimately it comes down to you, what you will put up with, having respect for yourself and looking out for certain traits that are listed in the book. I was going to write a little manual for my future daughter but now I don't have to as I will just give her this book, telling her that the guy in the book isn't a rarity. There are lots of them out there - beware! Thank u.

A very good guide for all women out there. would love to see this as a film in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Woman v Womaniser, 2 Jun 2011
This review is from: Woman VS Womaniser: What He Knows That You Dont (Paperback)
I just finished reading this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. So much so,just like a good movie I did not want it to end. I even put the book down for few days, knowing I was nearing the end. I loved the fact that you put Holloway on the map, being a North London Girl now living in Highgate, I am getting to Hampstead, LOL. I loved the humour, the tear jerking moments and at times I wondered is this guy for real? And so glad our paths did not cross at Bel Air, lol. More importantly the spirtual awakening and your passion to redeem yourself. Thats a Beautiful and Powerful thing!

I had the pleasure of attending the book launch and getting my copy signed. I recall Mr Jay say " I just hope the book sells" I replied "don`t worry about that, it will sell itself". I am a Young Persons Lawyer and I take a holistic approach, as I am passionate about Young People. I have found myself promoting the book to many of my young female clients without realising. Need I say more?

This book reminded me of a passage I wrote on Love and Relationships as a co-authour, for Ken Barns, called the "I Factor for women".

So Jay, what more can I say apart from a MASSIVE well done!!!!!

KEEP SHINING !

Peace and Love

Amazing,amazing book.
Ready to have your eyes opened to how men really think... I picked up the book and was completely hooked from the first page.

This book is written from the heart and takes you through JC JOHNSON's past and his honest account of things that he has done. A little bit suprising at times but always had me turning the next page.

Its very honest about why men behave the way they do and it certainly gives a deep insight into men, in actual fact I havent read a book that is quite so honest about why men behave they do and I recognised a few home truths about some of the men that I have know
Having read and loved the book as much as I did I think im a lot more clued up on the way men behave, and know which men to avoid

JC JOHNSON'S experiences in life are worth reading about even without the great advice which is offered throughout the book.

This is a book im going to be recommending to all my female friends...and I think a few men out there should be worried that JC JOHNSON has given away their secrets.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Book, 9 May 2011
This review is from: Woman VS Womaniser: What He Knows That You Dont (Paperback)
Amazing is the first word that comes to mind!!!

I know that JC Johnson is writing from experience but not everyone is able to show empathy and creativity in the way he did. Before reading the book I thought I would come away with a list of things i didnt like after reading "the rule book" a few years ago. Let me stress this is on a totally different level - I repeat "Amazing"

Every girl/Woman will be able to relate to to this book in some way, he taught me things that I never knew at the grand age of 31, I found myself reading the book and saying "omg I went through that, or was that his game from the start" my eyes have been well and truely opened. I really would reccomend this book to every girl who has ever been in a relationship.

I just hope that he has started with the next book :) becasue he has such a talent. "A Must Buy"

Well, what can i say j c Johnson takes you on a rollercoaster ride of a million different emotions as a woman looking at herself or others like her but from a mans perception. One minute you are laughing the next you take a brief look at things you have been through and you do start to compare and you think to yourself ( oh no that happened to me).

This book is not telling us things that we dd not already know it just makes us open our eyes and realize that men will try and take the liviing p........ Out of us and finally a man admitting and giving guidance. If your man has tried anything in this book or you thought that he may of done trust me he did!!!! A woman's intuition is never really wrong, men watch out

Ssssssss Oooooo ladies take a deep breath, sit down, with a large glass of wine leave the bottle next to you dim the lights,
An read on.

This book took me two days flat to read, could not put down, jay you did a good job.

5.0 out of 5 stars Woman VS Womaniser- the answers to the questions you've always wanted to know!, 17 April 2011
This review is from: Woman VS Womaniser: What He Knows That You Dont (Paperback)
This book is the answer to so many previously unanswered questions!

An emotional roller -coaster, which one can easily identify with.

Definitely a must read if you are ready to be educated in the truth.

JC Johnson has basically provided us with a guidebook of" what to look out for" and how to carry yourself if you truly want to be valued by men.

I believe this book is a gift and is evidence that a womaniser really can change.......there is hope!

I would love to see this amazing book become a film. Peaches

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, funny, insightful, valuable and emotional - read the book and see for yourself!, 16 April 2011
This review is from: Woman VS Womaniser: What He Knows That You Dont (Paperback)
Firstly I want to start by saying thank you to JC Johnson for putting pen to paper and sharing such an amazing story and that I have really enjoyed reading his book even though it did make me feel crap and depressed at certain points!

Not every reader will relate to it but every reader can and more than likely WILL learn and take something away from it....I feel weird after reading it?!? Hard to explain but its a good, positive and warm feeling.
Its clear that anyone who reads this book will have something change within themselves, even if its the tiniest of things....in my mind its impossible for them not to.

I think the book is brilliant, it's a great insightful story of the authors life from which I have definitely taken something valuble away from it now and strongly feel that it will impact on my life and the choices I make going forward.

One thing I will say is that the book took me on a mini journey with the author and made me feel emotional which i really didnt expect! At first I laughed and raised an eyebrow at his ways but later felt a little distressed and angry at him. At the same time I wanted him not to be that person he was.....its like he was 2 very strong characters within one person, but projecting more of one on the outside then the other... if that makes sense. As I read on it made me feel that regardless of him being this selfish and self centered ass he was only fighting against himself for a change.

JC Johnson's journey takes all sorts of twists and turns and its not what you the reader would expect...but what did happen to him and how he was forced to learn and change was so much MORE then winning the damn lottery!!

What he experienced and went through is amazing and its clear that he has changed!
I really do believe he is going to make it big but at the same time be a well known and respected figure...more then he may be at present.
