ABOUT Brenda Perlin

Brenda Perlin
I was a exercise trainer for many many years. I loved working with people and helping them to obtain not only their fitness goals but their life goals as well. It all goes hand in hand. I am definitely a people person.

When love comes with a price...

What happens once a vengeful ex just won’t let go? Bo and Brooklyn’s worlds are turned upside down as they find themselves facing insanity in the form of an angry woman who loses all reason when she tries to destroy them. Will Ruth give up or will she succeed in ending the relationship between her former husband and his new love?

I started writing this series when I was turning thirty and planning my wedding. It was before I became a fitness trainer and not really sure what I wanted to do with my life. I felt a lot of pressure from my then future husband to do more. He said he didn’t care how much money I made as long as I worked hard. That was when I decided I would write my life story and talk about the pressures of growing up as well as the unpleasant business of weddings! I thought it was all a sham. After we were married I realized my husband had it reversed, he didn’t care how hard I worked as long as I made money.

  1. From the moment I started reading this book I knew I was going to like it. Little did I know by the end of the book I would fall in love with it. -Natalie

This is one novel that will definitely give readers much pause for thought as you learn about betrayals, loyalties, guilt, friendships and one woman's struggle just to find happiness. -Fran

While I was reading I'd react to things out loud that really surprised me. I was also a little surprised by how much the main character reminded me of me in the very beginning and a little bit throughout the story. -Heather
