My love of reading the written word came before my love of writing. As a child, I read everything I could get my hands on, including the backs of cereal boxes. The romance novel bug hit me in my mid-teens. The first romance novel that I read was a Harlequin historical. I have been in love with the romance genre ever since. I wrote my debut novel, Pushed to the Edge, during my last year of law school. The idea for the novel came to me during a class lecture on the dangers of bioterrorism. I started out writing a few hundred words a day. When reading Pushed, I hope that readers take away thoughts about the interconnection between terrorism and the drug trade.

"From the first few chapters of Pushed to the Edge, I was hooked. The first part was already filled with action that never let up and there's never a dull moment in this book." -- Reader's Favorite

"If you're looking for an action-packed suspense, then this is for you. Pushed to the Edge brings civilian and military life together as a series of events taking place all over the world are slowly pieced together to reveal the truth behind what is going on. The timing in which the events unfolds is perfect; revealing just enough information to keep your interest all the while taking you down new roads that have you questioning everyone's motives." -- Book Cove Reviews
