Description

Agent Danielle La Rue got her first chance as a field agent on a low-risk assignment for the DEA. Her new reckless partner has the desire to avenge another agent's death, screwing up her opportunity to shine.

Agent Rick Tarrango long ago went Mustang as a field agent for the ATF. Rick doesn't like to follow the rules; they're more like guidelines. As Dani and he butt heads over a Mexican drug cartel blood bath, he's drawn to the sexy and smart ex-Navy SEAL. But Rick will do whatever he can to bring his friend's murderer down, even go against orders.

The leader of a drug cartel and an arms dealer are ready to do battle in a small coastal town in Mexico. Dani and Rick have to find the yacht carrying firearms in from Guatemala. Can Dani reel in Rick long enough to get the job done or will she trust her heart instead?

South of the Border is a reflection of my taste of hobbies and adventure. The sea is important to me and I scuba dive all over the world. This heroine is strong and ex military like me. You'll find the story a quick read, most people can't put it down because of the pacing. That's the way I like to read a book...I devour it.

Agent Danielle La Rue wants to make a good impression on her first real mission for the DEA but when her anticipated partner is killed, his replacement isn't exactly what she had in mind. Rick doesn't follow the rules and when his partner and friend is killed, revenge is square on his mind, even if it puts sexy Danielle in a tough spot. Between rampant emotions, nerves and gun deals, Rick and Danielle find themselves fighting attraction as well.

For the military romance lovers out there, Cherie De Sues needs to go to the top of their `must-read' pile. The romance element is front and center, the two main characters finding their way through their feelings and attraction as they continue to fight and figure out exactly what is happening with the other pieces of the story. South of the Border is an intense read and it's a good thing it's not that long because you won't be able to put it down.
