Where did all of the good science fiction go? Somewhere in the span of time between Isaac Asimov and Spider Robinson, the big thrillers from Harry Potter to Twilight seemed to draw readers away to magical realms and dark paranormal romance and leaving science fiction behind. I was still looking for a good space shoot-em up with smart, twisty plots.
