Description

I wrote this book as a small and easy to read virtual guide of Machu Picchu. It contains many photos, and acts as a step by step trip within this site from the gate where you enter, and then back to the exit. Most guides do not realize that some parts of Machu Picchu are much older than the Inca; the Inca in fact adopted the site from a much older culture.

As a professional tour guide in Peru, I want all visitors, who wish, to learn the true story of Machu Picchu. Most of this amazing "lost city" was made by the Inca under the reign of Pachacutec, in the 15th century, but there are certain structures, in fact the most sacred ones, which pre-date that. This book offers insights into the facts about this amazing place.
