In Eternity's Secret, Carisia Switala attempts to answer this question by examining the concept of eternity within a framework of relevant biblical passages and science. A new paradigm of time is created based on a dimensional reality that exists in the space-time continuum allowing for the likelihood of seeing the future, time travel and immortality.

The Story Behind This Book

The idea for my book, Eternity's Secret, was conceived several years ago when I was a graduate student at Harvard Divinity School. I had an intense curiosity about time that led me down a path of exploring what the Bible and science have to say about the subject. I studied biblical exegesis, physics, early Christianity, gnosticism (the study of revelatory knowledge), and world religions. After graduating with a master’s degree in theological studies, I began documenting the ideas I had regarding time and continued doing biblical and scientific research over the years. I finally reached a point where I decided to write a book focusing on the insights and knowledge I had acquired from my scholarly pursuits. Eternity’s Secret: What the Bible and Science Have to Say about Time is the finished product.
