Description

After a stressful season launching a new company, Lydia needed a

vacation more than anything in the world. On the recommendation of

romantic interest John Mathews, she chose the quaint beautiful village

of Zihuatanejo, Mexico, with the understanding that he would join her

lateAr.A

From her first meetings with colorful expatriate Ana and handsome

Mexican waiter Rodolfo, Lydia’s vision of her world expanded with a

clarity that amazed her. Not even she could have foretold just how

much a casual getaway would impact her life forever. By the time John

arrives, Lydia is already questioning all that she has held dear in the

past and weighing it against what could be her future.

The Jade Pendant

is the heart-warming story of one woman’s love affair

in a foreign country and how it changed everything she ever thought

or believed about herself in the past

I The Jade Pendant is loosely based on a similar incident I experienced while vacationing in beautiful Zihuatanejo in the late 90's. Like Lydia, I too lost my business while enjoying the beauty that Mexico had to offer. There really was a Rodolfo and other colorful characters in the book and som (though not all) of the hilarious situations that Lydia found herself in really did happen. It will be up to the reader to decide what is fact and what is fiction. Either way I hope you enjoy reading my story as much as I had writing it.

I just finished your book, "The Jade Pendant" and I wanted to tell you how much I loved the book.  I have been going to Zih for 11 years now, and you completely captured the way that I feel about the town.  Every time I am there, I can't help but think what it would be like to live there, even part time.
Is this book true to life?  Did you marry Rodolfo?  What a great romance!
I can't believe it finished the book in one sitting, but I just couldn't put it down.  Are you still in Zih?  I would love to meet you when I'm there next February, if you are there.

Thank you so much for the WONDERFUL book!
