Jake is a sergeant in the Space Militia. He lost the draw this year and stayed behind when Earth was evacuated for the winter. It’s his job to make sure the mutant life forms spawned by the nuke wars don’t break through the museum’s barrier. He’s resigned himself to a long, lonely winter fighting mutants and boredom.
When he discovers he’s not alone on the frigid remnants of man’s home world, he knows he should be a gentleman and keep his hands to himself, but spring is a long way off and Liisa’s charms are hard to resist
